The city wall motif with 11m x 2.15m was installed in a farm shop with a wall area of 10.60m x ~2.02m. Tip: for our length, the 40cm margin was not enough. This will remove most of the folded edges from transport. Because of its length, we left it folded up loosely once and left it overnight. Primer: Prime the wall well beforehand. We used the MuralFix primer for 36 square meters and were able to prime the area (approx. 23 square meters) twice. Allow the odorless primer to dry thoroughly overnight (air it out). Wallpaper glue: We also used Muraltex paste here (24 square meters). Tips: Use the spirit level to draw a straight vertical line to attach the wallpaper to the wall. After mixing the glue and initially wallpapering according to the instructions (paste 5 meters of wall and then put up the wallpaper), we unfortunately discovered that the glue dries too quickly (or we are too slow). So we made the glue a little more fluid with more water and only pasted 2 meters at a time. Make sure to pull each section of glued wallpaper onto the wall with a spatula so that there is no air between the wall and the wallpaper. Cut out recesses such as sockets, etc. in sections and pull the wallpaper neatly onto the wall. Then cut off the edges and replace the blade of the carpet knife every 4 meters of wall length by breaking it off. The result: Incredible with the light from the LED ceiling panels close to the wall, it looks deceptively real thanks to the shadows contained in the motif under the stones. You get the impression that you are standing in front of a brick wall.

Material: Nahtlos Fototapete Muraltex. Leicht, reisfest und selbst bei 11 Meter Länge zu dritt schnell und einfach an die Wand zu bringen. Tipps: Tapete auseinander falten und 12 stunden liegen lassen. Dadurch werden die Faltkanten vom Transport weitestgehend entfernt. Wir hatten sie aufgrund der Länge einmal locker eingeschlagen über Nacht liegen. Grundierung: Wand vorab gut grundieren. Wir haben die MuralFix Grundierung für 36qm genommen und konnten die Fläche (ca. 23qm) 2x grundieren. Geruchslose Grundierung über Nacht gut trocknen lassen (Lüften). Tapeten Kleber: Verwendet haben wir auch hier den Kleister Muraltex (24qm). Tipps: Mit der Wasserwaage einen vertikalen geraden Strich zum ansetzen der Tapete an die Wand ziehen. Nach dem anmischen des Klebers und dem anfänglichen Tapezieren nach Anleitung (5 Meter Wand einkleistern und dann Tapete drauf) haben wir leider festgestellt das der Kleber zu schnell trocknet (oder wir zu langsam sind). Daher haben wir den Kleber mit mehr Wasser ein bischen flüssiger gemacht und immer nur 2 Meter eingekleistert. Unbedingt jeden Abschnnitt geklebter Tapete gut mit einem Spatel an die Wand ziehen so das keine Luft mehr zwischen Wand und Tapete ist. Aussparunge wie Steckdosen usw. abschnittsweise gleich ausschneiden und die Tapete sauber an die Wand ziehen. Danach noch die Kanten abgeschnitten und dabei die Klinge des Teppichmessers alle 4 Meter Wandlänge durch abbrechen erneuert. Das Ergebnis: Unglaublich mit dem Licht der Wandnahen LED Deckenpanels sieht es durch die unter den Steinen, im Motiv enthaltenen Schatten, täuschen echt aus. Mann Hat den Eindruck man steht vor einer genmauerten Wand.
