The specs for a good own picture on wallpaper
If you supply your own picture, of course you want it to be sharp on the wallpaper. Without pixels (those square blocks you see in poor-quality images). This is determined by the quality of your picture. On the computer, you can already check whether the picture is of good quality. By looking at the resolution. If it is bigger than 1 pixel per millimetre, you are in the right place. So if you have a wall measuring 3.5 metres by 2.5 metres, the photo resolution should preferably be 3500×2500 pixels or higher. In doubt whether the quality is good enough or don’t know how to check the resolution? Then send an e-mail to [email protected]. A quick note:
- File format: .jpg is the most commonly used format, but we also accept other image formats.
- Resolution: a pixel density of 1 pixel per millimetre.

If the quality of your picture is acceptable, your wallpaper with your own picture will be produced within 24 hours. The wallpaper we use is environmentally-friendly 180gr/m2 non-woven wallpaper. This wallpaper is extra strong, so it never cracks when wallpapering. Because of this firm structure, the wallpaper is easy to stick on the wall. Does it hang a little bit crooked? No problem! You can easily remove the wallpaper to paste it straight again.
The wallpaper is printed odourlessly using water-based Latex ink. This allows us to avoid harmful fumes and environmentally unfriendly concentrations in the air. This ensures that you will not be bothered by unpleasant odours. As a result, our photo wallpaper can also be used in medical areas and schools. In addition, our wallpaper has a matt look. This way, the print remains visible even when the sun or a lamp shines on your wallpaper.
