Can I apply wallpaper immediately after it has been delivered?

To avoid seams and shrinkage, you should first allow the wallpaper to come to room temperature for at least 24 hours. Observe the following rules:
For stability reasons, it is recommended to let the wallpaper acclimatise for 24 hours before applying it to the wall. This prevents the wallpaper from shrinking;

The optimal temperature for applying the wallpaper is between 18 - 25 ºC and a humidity of about 40% - 65%;
Before applying, the surface of the wall should be clean and dry.

Can I fold the wallpaper in a corner?

Yes, you can definitely fold the wallpaper a corner. Because our wallpaper is quite strong, the print will not be damaged.

Can I put my wallpaper over old wallpaper?

This is possible, but we do not recommend it. The old wallpaper can come loose because of the new glue so that the wallpaper can't be glued neatly. It is also possible that bumps may occur due to your old wallpaper that is difficult or impossible to remove. Attention: there should be no unevenness on the wall.

Can I put the photo wallpaper on a door as well?

Yes, you can also use the photo wallpaper for a door. If you want to wallpaper a door with an exact size, we can print and cut it to the millimetre. You can indicate in the options whether you want to use a margin or not.

Can the wallpaper also be applied on wood/mdf?

This is possible, but you must make the surface clean and free of grease. We also recommend priming the surface before wallpapering. Use a primer and let it dry overnight, the wallpaper will then adhere better. Keep in mind that with a thin board there is a chance that the glue will warp it.

Can your wallpaper also be applied to glass?

No, our wallpaper doesn't stick to glass. This has to do with the hard surface of glass.

Do the wallpaper lanes need to be glued together or overlapped?

You should always glue the strips tightly together. The wallpaper fits tightly together and is seamless. So do not glue it over one another. Make sure there is not too much tension on the wallpaper, otherwise seams may appear.

Do you have an instruction manual for the installation of photo wallpaper?

Does the wallpaper damage when you sting away air bubbles?

You can remove an air bubble by pricking or poking a small hole in the wallpaper with a needle or the tip of a Stanley knife. Then press the air out of the bubble. With a glue syringe you can, if necessary, inject a little glue into the bubble. The glue syringe causes minimum damage to the wallpaper. For wallpaper surfaces with a uniform colour, a hole may be more noticeable than for example with a bunch of wallpaper.

How can I dry the wallpaper faster?

Make sure that there are no large temperature fluctuations during the application of wallpaper. Wallpapering at warm or cold temperatures is difficult because of the reaction of the ambient temperature to the non-woven wallpaper. The ideal temperature in the room for wallpapering is between 18 and 25 degrees. Then let the wallpaper dry for 24 hours.

How do you remove excess glue?

Excess glue can be easily removed/wiped away with a dry or slightly damp cloth. You can use an old tea towel, for example. Make sure that the cloth is not too wet. Since our ink is water-based, you can wipe the ink off the wallpaper if you make it too wet.

How many packs of wallpaper glue do I need for my wall?

One package of non-woven wallpaper glue from our website is enough for 20-22 m2.

I'd like to use wallpaper outside, is this possible?

Our photo wallpaper is not suitable for outdoor use. Our wallpaper is not resistant to rain and weather influences.

My manual is not included? Can I find it somewhere else?

Should I glue the wallpaper or should I glue the wall with wallpaper glue?

With our wallpaper, you always have to glue the wall. Make sure that the glue is well distributed on the wall. Always use glue for non-woven wallpaper. Make sure that the strips fit well together to avoid gaps.

We have a socket in the wall, how do we cut it to size?

You must first disconnect the electricity/power supply and then remove the frame. We recommend that you tape over the wall socket afterwards. You can then paste the wallpaper over it and carefully cut away the wallpaper that falls over the wall socket or remove it with wallpaper scissors.

What accessories do I need to wallpaper?

To apply wallpaper, you need wallpaper glue and a brush or a roller to apply it to the wall. Then use a wallpapering spatula to smooth the wallpaper. If necessary, use a pressure roller for rolling (also for the seams). You will need a sharp Stanley knife or you can cut away excess wallpaper with wallpaper scissors. After a strip of wallpaper has been pressed against the wall, you have to remove the air bubbles with a squeegee. Is there a spot afterwards where there is no glue? Then use the glue syringe. What is the best way to remove a large bubble?

Avoid air bubbles by applying the wallpaper properly. The advantage of non-woven wallpaper is that if it does not sit well, you can easily pull it back (it does not tear easily) and you can re-apply it. Rub the air bubbles towards the edges with a wallpapering spatula. If there are small air bubbles because there is no glue behind, use the glue syringe. You can remove an air bubble by pricking or stabbing a small hole in the wallpaper with a needle or the tip of a Stanley knife. Then press the air out of the bubble. With a glue syringe you can, if necessary, squirt a little glue into the bubble. After gluing, check that there is no air bubble.

What wallpaper glue do you recommend?

On our website, we sell 'Perfax Roll-on'. This glue is suitable for non-woven wallpaper. One pack of non-woven wallpaper glue is enough for 20-22 m2.

In principle, any wallpaper glue can be used for non-woven wallpaper. You can also buy ready-made wallpaper glues at a construction market. Because these glues are difficult to send by post, we don't offer them on our website.
